They have all the performance features you expect from PROTO steam locos including a five-pole, skew-wound motor, and they’re loaded with applied details. USRA Heavy 2-10-2s are available with or without Quantum® sound and DCC decoder, and sound-equipped versions will run just fine on standard DC layouts with no modifications.
