Windows and doors are plastic, for ease of construction. This kit was produced from plans originally published in Railroad Model Craftsman and used with their permission.

Degree of construction difficulty is indicated as follows:

* Beginner: requires little or no previous modeling experience and/or assembles quickly with good results.

** Intermediate, usually requires some previous modeling experience; takes a little longer to assemble. Ambitious beginners can also attempt.

*** Advanced, requires previous modeling experience for most people. Will require several hours to complete; attention to detail is important for an impressive finished model.
